Construction of roof and copper plumbing with Tecu Classic. Insulation package and ventilation.
For this building, the client company contracted out the entire coverage package to us. The only existing slab was in reinforced concrete.
During the first stage, a dry vapour barrier sheet has been placed on the whole surface of the cover. Then, a first warping of wood strips 60mmx60mm has been installed with appropriate hardware, perpendicularly to the eaves line, at a distance of 60 cm from each other to make the laying possible of a first polystyrene insulation coating, 60 mm thick, 35 kg\mc density. At a later stage, a second warping of wood strips 60x60mm has been installed, anchored with screws on the above warping, parallel to the eaves line, at a distance of 60 cm from each other to make the laying possible of a second insulation coating of expanded polystyrene, 60 mm thick, 35 kg/mc density.
At last, the ventilation wood strip, 40mm thick, has been laid perpendicularly to the eaves line, followed by the laying of a plank prismatic wood of 25 mm on the whole surface of the cover. The Classic TECU copper roofing , thickness 6\10 in double seaming, has completed a job that has seen our company also engaged in the operations of sheet metal accessories such as ventilated ridge, fitting velux windows, etc..
