Laying Techniques
All solutions for façades and metal roofing.

For every project, the targeted choice of materials is really important, but also the installation system. This is the reason why the company has specialized in a very wide range of processes and techniques of laying.

Double Seaming
This technique allows the joint of previously rimmed sheets and strips and it’s obtained by overlapping and folding the flaps.
The fastening to the substructure is provided by some tabs, anchored by nailing. The large quantity of achievable developments and the array of sections open up many possibilities in decoration. The minimum height of seaming (23 mm) is evident from the lateral bending of the plates which, by various operations, are joined to form a double seam.
The play that is formed (3 to 5 mm) absorbs the transversal expansion of the plates, due to thermal phenomena.

Angular  Seaming
This alternative provides a final flap folding to 90 °, instead of 180 °.
This way, it forms an angle that, compared to the double seaming, has a larger exposed surface, ensuring an extremely levelled effect with a significant reduction of bulges.
The angular seaming is currently the most successful version in façade cladding and exposed surfaces of great aesthetic impact. Its use is limited to roofs with a minimum slope of 25° (47%).

Shingle - Shavings
The shingles are elements of variable size and shape to be used in façades and roofs with a higher slope than 45%. Starting from the gutter, depending on the shape and the type of coating, the shingles may be mounted in horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction (honeycomb coating).

For each shingle, the fastening  is assured by tabs and nails. The substructure must be safely and firmly joint to the building.

Lares
Lares is an integrated system, designed for roofing and wall coverings, with a wide range of strong points. The first one involves maintenance, almost reduced to zero. The second one is the reaction to weather conditions: mounting system Lares is unaffected by frost, wind or hail and resists to temperature changes and vibrations caused by traffic. The system can be applied to various types of materials and is based on modular elements that are dry installed in the yard. In order to speed up, thermal and acoustic insulation and waterproofing and ventilation layers are installed at one time, creating a perfect system for residential buildings.

Slats
The slats are elements for façades reaching up to 6000 mm lengthwise and up to about 500 mm widthwise. The panels - available in different sizes - are assembled on site with the technique of the male/female interlocking or lap link.
Panels’ dilation in a transversal direction does not excessively affect, whilst the expansion of the roof or the coating in a longitudinal direction must be compensated by an empty space or a separation in order to absorb such expansion. If you use longer sections, you must compensate for this expansion at the edge of the span and by the substructure.

Cassettes
The cassettes, cladding elements with folded edges on all sides, are available in varying proportions. Their implementation is by following the instructions of the designer.
Thanks to the bending of the edges, it is also possible to lay plates of larger dimensions while maintaining the flatness of the façade. In order to grant greater resistance or to further stiffen the cassette elements of large format, you can use a system which allows the bonding on the rear side of rigid materials, such as wood or plywood boards OSB, etc...

Planking joint
This type of cover provides the interposition of a wooden lath fixed to the armature, between the coating sections, which the folded flap of the slab interlocks on. On the laths, a sliding cover is applied as a cap or lid; compared to the thin ribs of the double seaming, in this case the optical effect of the roof or wall is more structured.
From a technical point of view, regarding length, width of the sheets and minimum slope of the roof, the same rules of the cover in double seaming can be applied. The plates are not completely folded at 90° on the sides:  this way, at the base.

Kalzip ® aluminium roof covering system, with 1% minimum slope
This is a new system of industrial roofing, prefabricated with vertical border, that is based on the assembly of modular elements. Prefabrication, carried out with meticulous accuracy and according to precise measurements, ensures the highest degree of reliability.

Large-scale installations favor assembly operations, already notably simplified by the industrial prefabrication which has limited a lot modelling during the installation.
